new-years

So it is that time of year again.

The time we all decide to better ourselves and make next year better than the last. (This usually occurs once we’ve over indulged on Christmas food and spent a fortune in the January sales!) So what is on your list? There are usually some standards:

  1. Loose weight
Surely the most common of all. Who doesn’t want to end up like Brad Pitt or Megan Fox before the year is out!
  2. Quit smoking
Not one I’d know much about but a brilliant resolution none the less.
  3. See family and friends more
Family and friends are something a lot of us take for granted so putting a bit of effort back into the relationship will only make life better.
  4. Travel more
Life is short and seeing the world is a big task to rush in later years, so hope on a plane, get some sun and culture and most importantly a tan! : )
  5. Get out of debt
In this financial climate many of us can only dream of this one but even if it’s a little chip of that credit card it’s a start.
  6. Try something new
Whether it’s a new language, food or, yes you guessed it, an instrument. This is one my fiance and I always strive to do. Where are you going if not forwards, eh!

So in aid of any of you out there looking to further themselves in 2013 I have an offer to propose…
I run free trial lessons ALL year round so if you’re uming and aaring over whether guitar is the instrument for you this is a perfect opportunity to find out. It’s just 30 minutes, you don’t need a guitar I’ll provide one, in any of my studios and we’ll have a quick chat about what you want out of learning guitar and then go over a few basics that you can go over in your own time, have fun with and basically see how fun playing the guitar is. No expectations at all. Then next Christmas you’re all set to pull out the guitar in front of the whole family and get everyone rocking out to ‘jingle bells’, what’s there to loose!

Follow the link on the left ‘back to wmguitartuition website’ to find out more details about my lessons and find my contact details if you’re interested.

Happy New Year Everyone!!
