Happy 2016!

Last year had been a pretty crazy one with the main change being the house move to Penwortham, just on the outskirts of Preston, from Chorley. The move then gave me a chance to really make a studio that you guys would want to learn in so job number one (even before I had unpacked all the moving boxes) was to get the room looking the best it could be.

My 2 week estimate may have been a little off base, turns out knocking back to brick isn’t as simple as you’d think but, man, was it worth the wait. I thought you might like to see what went into making the studio so we took some photos throughout.

My recent development of emailing practice videos after the lesson so you can continue practicing at home seems to be going down well too, with students saying it really helps them when they forget what we’ve gone over.

All in all I’m very excited for 2016 and with the monitor speakers pumping out our tracks it’s honestly a pleasure to be back at work after the holidays.
