Although I am biased, out of my own experience, going it alone is a lot harder than being taught. There is a LOT to learn and knowing where to start and how to understand what you are playing come from working with someone with that knowledge in the first place. I highly recommend looking into lessons but if you’re going it alone, good luck and god speed!
